Privacy Policy
How GeoIntel Works handles client and visitor data
GeoIntel Works is a small GIS consulting studio. The purpose of this policy is to explain, in plain language, what information is collected, how it is used, and how client project data is protected.
Information collected
When you contact GeoIntel Works, the site may collect your name, email address, organization, project description, location or study area, timeline, budget range, and any files or details you choose to provide.
The site may also collect basic technical information, such as pages visited, language preference, sample-download clicks, and form interactions, when analytics are enabled.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, evaluate project fit, prepare quotes, deliver agreed services, manage invoices or payment links, improve the website, and keep necessary business records.
GeoIntel Works does not sell client data and does not share client data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Client project data
Client project data may include addresses, candidate sites, maps, GIS files, reports, spreadsheets, model notes, mineral exploration context, environmental indicators, or other business information supplied for a project.
Client project data is used only to evaluate, scope, perform, and deliver the requested service, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
AI and model training
Client files, project data, and business information are not used to train public AI models or third-party foundation models.
If AI-assisted tools are used for drafting, coding, summarization, or analysis support, GeoIntel Works uses a minimum-necessary approach and avoids submitting confidential raw data files unless the client has agreed to that workflow.
Service providers
GeoIntel Works may use ordinary business service providers such as email, cloud storage, analytics, website hosting, payment processors, document tools, and scheduling tools.
These providers may process information only as needed to operate the business, deliver the project, protect the website, process payments, or comply with legal and accounting obligations. They are not authorized by GeoIntel Works to use client project information for unrelated marketing or model training.
Security and file transfer
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, including access control, limited sharing, encrypted transport where available, and data minimization.
No website, email system, cloud service, or file-transfer method can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so clients should not send highly sensitive files until an appropriate project-specific transfer method has been agreed.
Highly sensitive or regulated data files should not be sent through the general contact form. For paid projects, a more appropriate transfer method or confidentiality agreement can be arranged.
Retention and deletion
Inquiry records may be retained for a reasonable business period so GeoIntel Works can respond, follow up, and maintain records. Project files are retained only as needed for project delivery, revision support, legal, tax, accounting, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes, unless a project agreement sets a different period.
Clients may request deletion of project files or personal contact information, subject to legal, accounting, security, or contractual retention requirements.
Privacy rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about how personal data is used.
GeoIntel Works follows data-minimization and transparency practices aligned with GDPR and CCPA principles where applicable, without claiming that every project or visitor interaction falls under those laws.
